I got to see the American version of the “Grudge” with Sarah Michelle Gellar, vs seeing the OG “Grudge”. There is a certain cultural vocabulary that doesn’t easily translate. (The original “Grudge ” still fucks with me, even if I still don’t get the cultural specifics). Sorta like the American version of “The Ring” vs the original “Ring” On a tangent…..
