    Sixteen million homes currently sit vacant across the U.S. In the United States, the number of homeless people on a given night in January 2023 was more than 650,000 according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. We could house all of our homeless tomorrow, but nobody would get rich, so that won’t happen.
