Been there.
Had a break in, my wife comes home and literally saw them run out the back door.
2 hours laterthe cops show up.
The next day I find a knife they missed beside the door they jimmied.
Call them with the case number, tell them I didn’t touch it and should I bring it in.
Guy says,”don’t bother, they were probably wearing gloves.”

At least the insurance company was decent about the claim.
