In their defense, Penske, Ryder, Enterprise will rent those to anyone who passes the credit check. They are commercial grade U-hauls.
In all honesty, they should road test anyone who has driven nothing bigger than 6,000 lbs. (myself included).
My brother and I three years ago moved his warehouse of 130+ pallets via an Enterprise that had a lift gate and could hold six pallets. Even though I was riding shotgun, I was scanning ahead to verify we could fit down the road, because I had seen what happened to the UPS trucks when a driver didn’t.
