I work for a company that tested a fancy wheel chair. To do a quick and dirty test of the durability of some of the wheels, we had to put some miles on it on asphalt. We used a couple of parking lots nearby.
You should have seen the looks I got from passers-by when after tooling around the chair I would just shift my feet and stand up out of the chair
Usually we had a steel weighted dummy used for testing, so it was a nice change to actually use our product, rather than walking besides it.
