They should do middle child day. The first child is all new and exciting, the novelty has worn off for the second and they can’t be bothered. Then the third one comes along and they realise it’s probably their last chance so they make an effort again.
Of course this didn’t happen to me, and I’m definitely not still bitter about it in the slightest.
