The people America calls centrist are NOT the people the rest of the world call centrists. We’ve shifted far to the right over time.
“Liberal” used to mean “centrist.” It was never the far left. It’s just the farthest left you can go WITHOUT BEING A THREAT TO CAPITALISM. That’s why it’s been rebranded as far left by America.
