I honestly wish we could go back to having one person stay at home and take care of the home and any possible kids while another works elsewhere. I don’t care who in the relationship it is though. But a dollar doesn’t go as far as it did when this was a common occurrence. So until giant corporations stop striving for ever increasing profits and infinite growth every quarter, hardly anyone will be able to afford this kind of lifestyle.
