QA to DEV: “They’re in the bug I opened. There’s even screenshots. Did you read the bug report? Did you follow the repo steps in the bug report to attempt to reproduce the bug?”
I’ve worked with too many DEVs that read the title of the bug and nothing else and then wonder why they can’t reproduce it.
I’ve had so many ticket with titles that had nothing to do with the actual problem, like “Photos not loading” is actually “website is completely hosed due to non-payment from the client”
Regardless of where we are in the IT chain, someone, somewhere is making it more difficult than it should be.
I just hate it when it’s me making it more difficult for myself.
