It’s not only that. It’s also narcissist devalue/dismiss. Because things only have value if *he, and only he* gives them value. Therefore, he’s saying that his target is worthless, even less than worthless, because you don’t exist in his world. And he’s announcing it to his minions that listen to him, therefore he’s canceled you. In his mind it’s the ultimate punishment.
